'All events put on by the school have been well thought out and planned, again with staff members clearly visible and smiling. I have found the inclusion of parents and family members at events such as jump, jiggle and jive and Mr Hullabaloo absolutely fantastic. Its a great opportunity to witness how my child reacts in certain situations and most importantly allows me/family members to spend this extra time bonding with her in this little space that she has created independently with the help of the staff. As a parent of an older child who didn't have all these experiences in nursery school due to Covid and lockdowns these events have been invaluable and something we will cherish.'

'Mrs Kielty and the team do not get enough credit and acknowledgement for the work they do for the children. They regularly go above and beyond for the children, and I suspect, at times, at their own expense to make sure the children and the school community has everything it needs. This school is a treasure for the community and the staff who make it so are amazing.'

'The nursery was very much committed to ensuring the wellbeing of the children and their families by including them in nursery activities and also ensuring no child went without breakfast and fruit. A fabulous nursery that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.'

"I've never experienced or received such high standard parent and school communication like this before. From the Seesaw App, then the SWAY magazine (monthly), along with handouts at pickup. As a parent all this information and communication gave me such peace of mind."

"Always! Almost every day, if I'm honest, a member of staff greeted me with a story of a funny thing that my son had done. Mrs Kielty also held a parent teacher meeting, which told me exactly what his developmental stage was at and how he was settling. We also had a meeting with the Health Visitor in school."

"To be able to come along so regularly with my son and his teachers, to his place of learning, and be able to take part with him and the staff was a joy! It brought parents, children and staff closer together, which creates a more happy and content child. Brilliant!

"I think Holy Child Nursery have provided a huge amount of opportunities for parents to actively participate in events with the kids. I think communication about these events was perfect- I didn't feel bullied or coerced to join but I was well aware that I could!"

"Honestly I enjoyed all of them. I loved the fun of Jump, Jiggle & Jive, the calmness of the Big Bedtime Reads and the Adult Mindfulness Course and the knowledge developed in First Aid. Personally the mindfulness session was so unique and great in developing relationships with other parents.

"I attended them all! Mt eldest son stated that I was quite the little joiner! There was nothing like this when he was at nursery, so I made the most of the opportunities. An opportunity to do First Aid was Wow! I got my work out during Jump, Jiggle & Jive. But my favourite and most helpful and enjoyable was Adult's Mindfulness, with the best people in the world. Thank you!"

8. How useful did you find the Lending library in developing your child's interest in books?

"I loved this. Each night I encourage bedtime reading and story time. Each time we got new books, we enjoyed that time together reading and making up stories. Got my child to be more imaginative!"

"Amazing!! It actually encouraged us to join the local library and we now go every few weeks."

"My granddaughter loved story time and story telling. She has improved greatly in her vocabulary and loves to hold a book and tell the story from the pictures."

My daughter loved getting her 'bag of books' on a Thursday. She enjoyed reading these with us, as well as her older siblings. They became the bedtime reading on a Thursday & Friday night!"

"Absolutely fantastic! My son has taken so many ideas home, right down to teaching me the breathing technique and compliments me every single day!"

"This is amazing - I would advocate for this continuing. Helping young children understand their emotions and build confidence from such a young age, is something I hold in high esteem!"

"This in particular has had the greatest impact on my daughter and has not only increased her awareness of emotions, but also ours as parents. We attended a wedding recently where my daughter encouraged us to take turns as the 'PATHs Child! We all left smiling!"
