Purpose

The family of Holy Child Nursery School helps every child to reach their potential in a place of love and warmth. We believe that our school should be an open, welcoming school working in partnership with parents and staff and the wider community to help each child reach his or her full potential.

Vision

Our vision is to have an exemplary school in terms of social and emotional learning, which would compliment the principles of Catholic eduction by building upon existing good practice and positive ethos. We hope each child will become increasingly independent, self-confident and happy, and express themselves in a variety of ways, developing a greater awareness of themselves, others and the world in which they live.

Values

Holy Child Nursery School is an integral part of the Catholic community in Andersonstown and the staff, together with the Board of Governors, are committed to nurturing the aims of a Catholic education. We will continue to welcome everyone to our school as Jesus welcomes us to the family of God. Here we love, value and respect each other as Jesus intended, enabling us to reach out to those around the world who need our help.
